It began with the legs in “Le Donne in Cammino” (Women Walking), unsophisticatedly sensual, sporty, confident, aggressive, romantic, playful, and refined. It is a surprise to be able to intuit the personality of a woman simply from her legs, her walk, her shoes, catching particulars often absent-mindedly forgotten.
The culmination of the study of the feminine universe lies in “Autoscatto” (self portrait). Representing the desire for; a greater knowledge of oneself, of life’s journey, an interior analysis, the maximum expression of one’s own being, and a way to express oneself. The search for self understanding through ‘close-up’ analysis.
The self portrait is the test of the photographer, you are the subject, the director and at the same time the photographer… in a brief moment the portraits; dreamed, imagined and thought out; materialize like a painter realizes a painting on a canvas.
The setting for the major part of these self portraits was a loft designed and renovated by Marina; thus representing a encounter between the architect and the photographer.

È sorprendente riuscire ad intuire la personalità di una donna
osservandone semplicemente le gambe, il passo, la scarpa, cogliendo particolari distrattamente dimenticati.
L’apice dello studio dell’universo femminile sfocia nell’”AUTOSCATTO”
Il Desiderio di una maggiore conoscenza di sé stessi, un percorso di vita, un’analisi interiore, l’espressione massima del proprio esserci, un modo di esprimersi.
L’intesa con se stessi arriva in “primo piano”
L’autoscatto è la prova d’autore, sei soggetto, regista e nel contempo fotografo… in pochi secondi si materializzano i “dipinti fotografici” sognati, pensati, immaginati e costruiti, come il pittore realizza il quadro sulla sua tela.
L’ambientazione della maggior parte di questi autoscatti è in un loft progettato e ristrutturato da marina: l’incontro tra l’architetto e la fotografa.
Il colore rosso è ricorrente ed è il colore che meglio rappresenta l’inesauribile forza e il carattere della nostra fotografa.
